The challenge:  remove a load bearing wall, hide the beam from sight, and bring new life to a tired condo.  The client, a local real estate agent, had a vision for what she wanted and how she wanted it.  To accomplish this goal, we utilized (2) 18" laminated beams, pushed them into the attic and hung the ceiling joists from them.  The result, a vastly open space that is roomy, updated and just what the client requested.
