Smyrna is booming, and with all the new construction homes, many are built with unfinished basements. So it is no surprise that we have been called on several basement projects lately.

 

This Weaver Street townhome built in 2016. With a growing family, it was time to create a living space for the Grandmother to be able to live comfortably while participating in her grandchild’s raising and to allow more space for the entire family to stretch out and play.

 

Some of the framework was complete already. While additional planning was needed, and execution of all designs, from a new fireplace to bathroom, bedroom, closet, and bar. All new mechanicals (plumbing, electrical and HVAC) was planned and installed. All finishes were selected to stay within a certain budget. And the finished product is a comfortable, fully finished basement, which still allows space for some storage, and plenty of family space.
