This charming Sandy Springs traditional style home, built in 1972 was due for an upgrade. The divided kitchen and dining room space, as well as the dated cabinets, were no longer suitable for this family of 3, who enjoy having friends over on occasion. The plan for The Hamlin Group, was to open the space up, eliminating the dividing wall, and to completely reconfigure the kitchen footprint; which included rebuilding an exterior wall to suite the new cabinet layout.

 

Nothing was salvaged. All new cabinets, appliances, lighting, paint, refinished and tied in new hardwood floors to transition one room to the next, as if it were always one open space. There is now plenty of room for the entire family and friends to gather and socialize in the most used room in the house.
